Last week Elaine attended the graduation of this year’s students of NAISDA where over 30 years ago she photographed Stephen Page, in his first year at NAISDA. Stephen Page is the CEO of Bangarra and he spoke at this years event. Elaine says ‘I was so proud of Stephen and his international achievements, and his speech.
I took photos of Stephen the first year when he trained at NAISDA, the school that Bangarra came from. I have continued over the years to support these groups of Aboriginal dancers any way I can.’
