Elaine Pelot Syron was delighted to be invited to submit works for display in an exhibition at Fairfield City Museum and Gallery, which was on until February 2016.
The title of the exhibition was ‘Talk the Change // Change the Talk’ and featured contemporary artists, oral histories, music and stories celebrating the strength and survival of our Aboriginal communities.
Other artists included Mervyn Bishop, Karla Dickens, Blak Douglas, Guntawang Aboriginal, Women’s Group, Willurai Kirkbright, Munkimuk, and Leanne Tobin.
The exhibition was curated by Blak Douglas & Lena Nahlous. Syron was pleased to be involved; ‘I feel grateful and flattered’.
